how do i get past the user sign in screen when i first start my computer no one can remember the password

if its a laptop (which it probably is) you may have bought an anchor....without the password you are sunk. The only way to remove it is to contact the manufacturer, they will want the serial numbder as well as all of YOUR personal info.

Password recovery discs won't work (you can spend money on them but they never do work) and even changing hard drives will not work....

no, its a regular home computer, i was told to press f10 when it first starts loading before it gets to the sign in screen, will this work

ok so i tried going to the BIOS screen and changing the password and username to admin, however when i saved the changes and restarted the computer it still asked for a password

so when you tap f8 and try to get in to safe mode that doesn't work either?

havent tried f8 yet,guess i will all i want is in it so i can wipe everything out of it and start over

Need unlock forgotten login password! There are 5 methods supported from tutorial titled:

I forgot computer password - How to Reset or Find Lost Password

search the title to get detailed methods:

Firstly, use password prompt function on password locked computer

Secondly, reset computer password with default administrator account

Thirdly, find computer password with computer password reset disk

Fourthly, change computer password with Windows Installation Disc

Fifth, break computer password by DIY a password recovery disk
