Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium sp1, AMD Anthlon x2 3.0 64 bit
I uninstalled eset nod32 with revo uninstaller. it still runs on startup. I disabled it in msconfig and it still starts. I removed everything reveo found. It is in start menue but the folder is empty. Ihave the eset uninstaller but not sure how to use it because it's confusing.

The specs on this is wrong at the top. This is a Dell Laptop Inspiron 1545 with Windows XP Professional SP3. Pentium dual core 3 GB ram.

Got it. I remembered to use the uninstaller in safemode.

are you sure you put checkmarks in to delete all the entries with Revo?

Yes I am sure. I checked all. It took about 5 minutes to delete it all.
I am going to run system restore to before I installed eset a few days ago.

I ran system restore to before I ran revo. Now if someone will post step by step on the proper uninstaller for eset I will just wait and do that. I hate that program as bad as norton. It does not hog your memory but it hangs around and causes problems after you uninstall.

OK I would have done system restore the first time. The thing is I do not like to run it if I have important things. I know you usually don't loose anything with system restore. But I NEVER take that chance. My desktop was a mess anyway alot of folders and documents. I had to find (it was lost) my jump drive to get all that on before I took a chance with system restore.
