Computer will not let me access my windows explorer. Say everything is empty. Add and remove shows the programs are still there, but this trojan will not let me get to it. Not even the icons that used to be on my desktop! I downloaded ParetoLogic virus scanner and it shows the virus: Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Pihar.hx. Is there any way to remove this without having to replace my hard drive? Thanks. Janet BTW: the trojan is not on this computer I am using right now.
Gee, now spybot search and destroy says I have Smitfraud-C.generic. What is that and how do I remove it? This turning into circus. I didn't have any of these problems till I switched to Norton Security Suite. I am going to try running spybot S&D in safe mode.
