Hi,
Ive got a Trojan.agent on my computer, ive run malwarebytes and its finding:
HKLM\system\currentcontrolsetenum\root\legacy_microsoft_windows_service
I have deleted this but on reboot it keeps reappearing.
I have gone into registry editor and found the Trojan there as cqyaoft.exe but everytime i delete this it just comes back instantly.
I have gone into the programs that run on start-up and unchecked cqyaoft.exe but again on reboot it just reappears again.
I was just wondering how bad this Trojan is and would appreciate any help in getting my computer back up and running.
Thanks for your time.
Download & run Hijack This. Look for it in there. How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
If it's a trojan like you say, I would suggest Trojan Remover and Hitman Pro. Run them both till they run clean Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions 7 Golds
"ive run malwarebytes" Can I see the log please.
Thanks for the replies, Ive run avast antivirus today which found infections and deleted with a boot-time scan, ive since run malwarebytes again and its not finding anything now.
I think the trojan is still hiding somewhere though as my internet will not load up now and a warning pops up on the tool bar on the bottom right hand side.
For the last time, Hijack This. How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
I too would still be interested in the malwarebytes log. I am kind of wondering if this came with a root kit as well, based on it returning all the time. :: mike
