There an intemitte fly buzzing sound on my PC

October 28, 2011 at 10:31:27
Specs: Windows 7, Athlon x2 255/4gb
The buzzing sound is intermittent. It increases and decreases in volume. Is independent of the speaker volume. But disappears with the speakers off.

did you try headphones yet? How about a different set of speakers? Buzzing could be the speakers are fried or maybe the leads are frayed and it's grounding out

Speakers work fine when playing music files. I don't have headphones or another set of speakers.

No, nothing new added. The computer is new (30 days) the only things I have added are - RTL8187 realtek 6db wifi antennae. I regularly use a 2 gb USB for storing/transferring files. It was not installed when the problem started.

I presume you called the pc tech support about the problem...you may have a lemon and you still have time to take it back and have it replaced.
