Symantec AntiVirus or Online Armor??

I was just wondering which one I should use out of Symantec AntiVirus or Online Armor? I have both now and Online Armor isn't working very well (I think it's because of Symantec AntiVirus). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My internet explorer 7 has been super slow and freezes and/or automatically closes. Thanks

It isn't a good idea to run two overlapping security programs. I
tried Online Armour a year or so ago and found that it isn't just a
firewall, it does try & control program access as well, so with
Norton trying to do similar things that's possibly why your
system is running slower. If you don't mind paying for security,
then a combined security suite - Kaspersky, Norton or whatever
will always be a better option than a mishmash of separate
programs as there are less likely to be conflicts.

I'd rather not buy anything. Should I get rid of one of them... if so, which one? Thanks

last I heard, norton wasn't free. If you are using some sort of free trial, eventually you will have to pay, or not be able to update

If you buy online you can get single user Kaspersky Internet
Security for about £UK18 (guess it's much the same in the US)
or a 3 licence version of Kaspersky or Norton for £UK25 - split it
with a couple of mates & that's £8 a year - install & forget.
