Suspicious Twitter account password problem

Specs: Windows 7
Someone keeps logging into my twitter account and making me follow people. I've changed my password, and they keep logging in. My associated email with twitter is gmail, and under the ip logs I don't see anyone elses IP other than mine.

Anyone who knows your Twitter log-in details can log in to your Twitter account. They don't have to know your associated Gmail email address to do that.

I tried to login to Twitter using just my user name, and pretended I forgot my password. They asked for my phone number, and associated the gmail address. After entering in all the information correctly, it said to check your in box to follow further instructions. So it looks like the only way the password could be reset is if someone got into my gmail acount to set it up. The only problem with that, is the IP logs on gmail show no other person on it than me. Still confusing me.
