Hi I am not up with windows stuff anymore so would like some advice. I installed superantispyware on a friends windowsxp system. superantispyware found Trojan.Agent/Gen-Falint 2 and Trojan/Agen/Gen-Falcomp 150 . Now did it get rid of these? How successful is that? Should i advise a reinstall of XP?

Hey mate,

I would suggest running Spybot Search and Destroy. It will tell you if it is still there and give you a clear option to remove it. I am a systems administrator and have used SpyBot all through my life. It is a great piece of software.

Let me know how you go :)

If that doesn't sort it consider MalwareBytes freebie - it's very good at finding and fixing.

Oh thanks everyone. Will be going to the persons place with the infection on thursday so will let you know. On my machine nothing showed probably because there is no infection. Gee it took an awful long time too to scan!
I will take both programs with me and kill the trojan!!!!
