Stuffer.exe? Help?

Specs: Windows Vista
I downloaded some freeware about a month ago called Stat Blaster from this forum post here: http://www.blackhatteam.com/f51/sta... Anyway, apparently someone had stuck a virus in the file that launched something called stuffer.exe in a temp folder which screwed with my internet settings (and who knows what else). Now everytime I launch Firefox it tries to connect via a nonexistent proxy (just my local 127.0.0.1 address). I am also no longer able to connect with a proxy in Internet Explorer without using the advanced settings. I deleted the stuffer.exe file but still need help getting my computer back to normal.

Is there anything I can do to fix this short of doing a system restore? I use this computer for business and can't afford to lose everything I've done over the past month.

Not sure why that link isn't going to the right place; here's the google cache if it helps: http://74.125.113.132/search?q=cach...

Someone else on that forum made a post about the problem which might be helpful in figuring out what it's doing.
