Do you want to get rid of Norton altogether or just some Norton popup? Or are you talking about Norton advertising even though their product is not installed? Explain just what this pop up is, whether Norton is fully installed, ready to be installed, or what? The 100 character limit is in the hope that things like this will then be explained at the outset. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I have found the SymUIAgent.app in my Activity Monitor and quit and deleted it,,but it just pops back up again!! I have searched my Applications folder but it is not recorded there!! How the hell can I get rid of this nasty pest??? Okay, the pop up is a Norton warning message that informs me my Norton application is out of date and will have to be renewed. I wany every atom of Norton removed entirely from my Mac! With thanks....

Thanks a lot, Derek! For the record, that Norton uninstall app worked. I was amazed at the hundreds of items it trashed! Now I've rebooted, my computer even LOOKS cleaner!
