spyware/malware infection

Specs: windows xp pro, amd dual core 2gb
windows xp desktop has infected warning on it i've tried to boot to safe mode and computer crashes blue screen everytime is there another way to go about removing this crap from my computer without having to wipe my computer is loosing a great amount of data

u need to run full scan with malware bytes, remove anything found
run full scan with superantispyware, remove anything found

that should get u started keep me posted.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup.... Delete all automatically ticked items and then delete all those files.

This will delete all un-needed files from your computer especially malware or spyware, as they mostly like to hang out in the Temp folder.

to hammed disc clean up and ccleaner are NOT going to remove viruses from a computer, thats the least of someones problem with viruses, those are not virus removing tools. they do help clean up unneeded temp files and free up some disc space.
