2. shutdown/restart is very slow.
pls help.

A few ways to tackle this, as both startup & shutdown are slow, I am starting by checking with a few tools for infections. 1: Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware ( MBAM ) Free Version. Use Quick scan. Copy and Paste the contents of the log please.

Make sure you uncheck > Enable free trial < during install.

If your MBAM log indicates "No action taken." That's usually a result of NOT clicking the Remove Selected button after the scan.
Quick Scan versus Full Scan

Once we get the comp running normally, it is essential you update to SP3.
Hi anilag, As rightly suggested by "Johnw", scan the system to remove virus.
Also, perform system file checker. Click Start > Run > type SFC /Scannow
Keep us posted with the results.
