I don't think I need to use a virtual private network,
but I'm interested in learning what you think. I know
someone who uses one, and she seems to think it is a
good thing. I'm skeptical.

A lot of people think a VPN will protect them from infection, it doesn't.
I have never had a need for a VPN.
