AFTER DOWNLOADING A WEB WITH FLASH CONTENT, THE SCREEN LOCKS UP, INHIBITING ANY FURTHER VIEWING. AN ERROR MESSAGE APPEARS ACROSS THE TOP
"A PLUG-IN, (SOCKWAVE FLASH), ISN'T RESPONDING" A BOX TO THE RIGHT OFFERS "STOP PLUG-IN;" BUT THAT HAS NO EFFECT.
I HAVE TRIED THE INSTRUCTIONS TO ENABLE THE SHOCKWAVE FLASH BUT THEY DO NOT WORK. BEFORE I UINSTALL ADOBE ALTOGETHER IS THERE A SMPLE FIX FOR THIS ISSUE
What browser are you using and is it the same on other browsers (if any)? Doubt there is any simple fix. Uninstall the ad-don and get a new download from Adobe - it's easy and won't take long.
