The website is poundstockgildhouse.co.uk, it a site that I manage from my PC. I have checked that the site is OK on another computer but I seem to have lost access along with getting rid of searchqu. HELP!

if you can't connect to the internet, open IE, click on tools/internet options/connections/lan settings and uncheck use proxy server if it is checked...restart IE and see if you can get online.

I can connect to the internet, it is only that website that is the problem. When I go to diagnose connection problems it tells me that there is no problem but the site just won't come up. Everything else works fine. Also I use webexpressions for the website and I can't upload anything at all. The guy in the computer shop in my local town said that it needed a 'deep clean'

try turning off and rebooting your router, that may work for you. I had a similar problem, but mine kept giving me a 401 error, are you getting any errors at all?

I have done that, I am not getting any error messages just 'Internet explorer cannot display the webpage' when I look at connection problems it says there is nothing wrong. I know the site is OK because I checked it at work earlier on today.

all I can suggest is then to add to the trusted sites in IE and see it that will make it work properly, also try turning off your AV & firewall to see if you can gain access.
Another thing to try is safe mode with networking, see if it works there.
