Solved search engine's hijacked by virus?

Specs: Windows 7
I do a search in a search engine, and get results, but when I click on those results I get re directed to various bad pages

I've had this before - does it show a thick green arrow as its redirecting you? I just did a system restore to a previous point in time before it occured and it went away

unfortunately a restore will not remove an infection, as it is already in the registry.
minusman, I would suggest you run these 3 following progs in EXACTLY the order listed, not rebooting until after the last scan.
1- rkill.exe

System Restore replaces the registry with the one stored at that date.

However, it can only help if the restore was to before you got the infection.
Even then there is the possibility that the virus deliberately infected the restore points.
