search engine redirect and torgan removal?

February 16, 2011 at 10:45:11
Specs: Windows Vista
Every search engine redirects to other sites. Some sites wont pull up at all. I have mcAfee security and after scan shows 4 infected files named SUSP_IRP_MJ_CREATE, IMAGEPATH TDSS.CLEM, these are the file name and dectation type its showing for them. I have tried a malware removal program looks like it made it worst the imagepath wasn't there before and it was only showing two defected files now its four.

Hi,
For of all disable your javascript in your browser, which ever one you have?
Then download TDSSkiller from this link:
http://support.kaspersky.com/viruse...
Then download Malwarebytes from this link:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
update and run a full scan, chances are you will have to rename it, anything you like to get it to save.
Next download ESET online scanner, from this link:
http://www.eset.com/online-scanner
Let me know how you get on?

Ok It was TDSSkiller you used?
Try downloading HitmanPro3.5 from this link:
http://download.cnet.com/Hitman-Pro...
Then read the How To instructions from this site.

You will also need to to check your browser homepage setting in internet options.
Then you will need to check your host file to see what sites are redirecting you from there?
