RtHDVCpl.exe I found this file in my start up

April 2, 2011 at 13:49:59
Specs: Windows Vista
I found this file in my startup applications when using my ccleaner program to disable some of the unnecessary start up apps, that were slowing my computer down. What is this file, it has no extension and no actual program value. The name is exactly as I have typed. Please let me know if this is a virus or a vital system file. Thanks

Hi

"rthdvcpl.exe is a Control Panel applet from Realtek belonging to the High Definition Audio System driver. The process HD Audio Control Panel or RtHDVCpl.exe belongs to the software HD Audio Control Panel or RtHDVCpl.exe or Realtek High Definition Audio by Realtek Semiconductor." www.processlibrary.com

If you are concerned about this file uninstall your audio driver and see if it goes away. If it is gone reinstall realtek driver and you should be good.
