how do i retrieve my virus infected files when it was deleted by the antivirus program? please help me..

u can check the quarantine or log files
and why would u need them back?

Indeed, as toxict51 rightly says, if your AV program has deleted
or quarantined them it means they cannot be cleaned or
disinfected. Trying to get them back is sheer folly as your AV
program will only do the same thing with them again. That's the
only safe and sensible option for it to do.

Why install antivirus if you're going to override it when it just saved your butt?

yh if u want them competely removed u should try something more powerful like malware bytes

Maybe whatever AV software he was using automatically decided said files were false positives, and he needs them back?. That's happened to me once, cause I was using AVG at one point (wayyyyyy too many false positives with that software), and it quarantined a few RAR files which I know wern't infected with viruses before hand.

Ei peepz... first, thanks for your replies! anyway, here's my scenario to help this be more clear (hope)... i have separated important folders inside my USB...when i tried to open it on my pc, my AV (avast) detected some virus (iworm). after i clicked the "remove the infection" button, all of those folders were gone! but if i scan it using the AV, the files are still there and recognized.

is there any possible way to retrieve those files? please help peepz...

dude dude listen if they removed why on earth would u want em back ? these were ineternet worms threats damage ur pc
ur avast AV removed them ur pc is safe getting them back would be unsafe get it
they were recognized because ur AV just quarantined them for ur safety if u want ur AV to stop detecting them just download malware bytes
