Solved remove infospace from mac?

Specs: Macintosh
When I do a search - usually through Metacrawler, which I've used successfully for years - I find all of my searches end up being connected to infosearch. Is this a virus?

I was unaware of this being a problem on Macintosh, I would suggest the following if it is on a windows setup.

Clear your proxy, delete temporary Internet files, remove browser add ons.

Run http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
And
Www.malwarebytes.com

I have simply removed Metacrawler from my top menu bar - and it seems to have resolved it.

But thanks, I'll keep that info handy, should it happen again.

(" . . if it is on a windows setup. . ").

I understood that it wasn't a windows setup, however I would note that you removed it by removing the browser add on. Thanks for the feedback.
