Without fail, I cannot click on the results of a google search without being redirected to a random website. Also, after opening a new IE window another IE window will open automatically for a random search page or advertisement. I have ran Malwarebytes and Spybot but they both cannot get rid of the issue. I'm not sure if this is related or not but upon initial startup, I also have to go to control panel>administrative tools>services>DHCP client. I have to manually start this service everytime I turn on my laptop. I've already made sure the "start-up type" is set to automatic, not manual

Trying to remember/assemble info - I got rid of this from a laptop belonging to a friend the other day. I seem to remember a trojan called Game something that did this. Might help someone else remember something...

Thanks for any help. I tried running the combofix program and that didn't fix it. I'll try anything.

I tried this program, launched it and it did not work. The program hung and crashed my machine. I tried it three different times with the same results.
