I've been having this problem since I started a program that had the virus Parite in it. I ran Malwarebyte Anti-Malware and it was able to quarantine and remove 111 files infected with this nasty virus but the problem stated above continues.

Because of that problem there are multiple programs that just won't open on my computer. I can't even watch videos through software like Windows Media Player Classic, and I can't edit videos on Sony Vegas, also because of this.

Is there a way to maybe repair my files, get rid of this virus without needing to format? There's a lot I'd like not to lose and it would take too long.

Thank you.
