Quick Heal internet security 2012 installation hangs at 79%

Specs: Windows 7, intel core2 duo
While installing quick heal internet security 2012 the installation does not proceed after 79%. If forcefully restarted the laptop, after restart the window is hanged then it is needed to use the recovery option through the windows cd to restore it to the earlier point.

I have registered copy of the quickheal internet security and I want to install it. Please help.

wow, I'm surprised you didn't contact their tech support as you said it is registered. That's the first thing I would do

I am in continuous contact with them. Still not received any concrete solution from them. Also due to time limit I am able to contact them only on weekends. So trying to solve the problem by my own.

I appreciate the fact you are trying this on your own. It looks like there may be a problem with that company. You may want to cancel payment on your CC and just uninstall it.
I would suggest Avast Free,

probably much more reliable plus it is the best AV on the internet.
If it does not uninstall properly, you may want to use revo uninstaller

to completely clean it out of your registry.

Hi Guys,

Today quick heal guys has solved my problem. Problem was there because one anti virus was already installed in my machine which i was not aware. It was installed with windows 7 installation.

After uninstall of it the problem get resolved.

That is a continuous problem in most cases. Anti-virus companies should alert you to remove all instances of a previous AV before installing theirs.
