Specs: Windows 7
my pendrive was installed in another computer which waas not virus protected. so all folders and files have turned in shortcuts. how to restore them.??? pls help me now .

First please make sure that your USB stick is inserted.

Second, go to Start > Search, type in "Cmd.exe", and double click on "Cmd.exe"

Thirdly, either type in, or copy and paste the following script (without the quotation marks), then press "Enter":

" attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* "

Also, replace the letter "g" with the drive letter of your USB stick (if your USB stick comes up as drive g:, then just leave that as is).

I wouldn't recommend doing this as it will change the attributes of a lot of files that do not need to be.

When you put the files on your flash drive did you move the actual files, or just the shortcut of the files.
