PC Live Guard

Specs: Windows XP Home SP3, celeron 512mb
I am trying to "fix" my mother-in-law's computer. She got PCLive guard onto her system and it is now totally screwed up. There are many internet sites that I am unable to open, including any online virus sites (Norton, AVG, McAffee.....) I am at a loss, as I do not want to totally reformat right now. System Restore will not work and there is nothing in the add/remove programs that helps.

Also, in Add/Remove programs, there are several different programs that do not have a "remove/uninstall" button when you select them. How can I fix that? I have no clue what some of them are, they are things like "copy" and CueTour.

Help ASAP thanks!!

OMG don't judge me!

I wish this forum would allow you to post Hijack This logs without a request but for now it does not. It is against the forum rules to post Hijack This logs without a request from a helper. The post will get deleted or edited by the moderator so there is no use in trying to help as it would be a waste of time. You might repost and maybe the moderator will be kind enough to only delete this thread. We are just like you, we do not make the rules but we are suppose to follow them.

There, the log is gone. I forgot that rule - it's been a while since I have used this site. However, I found help on another forum. I do have to say that before, when I used this site, someone would have an idea fairly quick. However, this hasn't happened here this time. Oh well, I guess that is life :)

The computer is working now, I am just waiting for someone to reply about my Kapernsky log file. Thanks again

Reboot your computer is Safe Mode with Networking and download anti-malware program to remove PC Live Guard. To get into the Windows Safe Mode with Networking, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode with Networking" and press your Enter key. You can download Malwarebytes, SUPERAntispyware or Spyware Doctor. There are more, but these are the most popular.
