Norton 360 blocked An intrusion attempt

Symantec Norton 360 v.4.0
May 30, 2010 at 21:08:24
Specs: Windows XP Home 2002 SP2
Recently Norton has an info box popping up in the bottom of my screen telling me that "A recent attempt to attack your computer has been blocked." This has been happening very often lately, sometimes within 5 minutes of each other. When I click for more details, it says "An intrusion attempt by ....... has been blocked." And it's severity is high. Norton says it's blocked and no action is required but I feel like something is wrong because this just recently started happening. What should I do? Some application paths are different but all involve HARDDISKVOLUME2 and most involve SYSTEM32. It's always by a different Attacker URL too! Help?

What if my computer gets attacked while my antivirus is turned off? It seems to happen pretty frequently after all.

It can damage your antivirus and you will have to reinstall it.

I found out it is a HTTPS Tidserv Request 2 so I am going to create a log and post it here. Should I run a rootkit scan as well?
