My email account Got Hacked

Toshiba Satellite a135
October 11, 2010 at 12:50:14
Specs: Windows Vista, 1.6 GHz / 2037 MB
Recently all my contacts from my addres book received an email with my email address advertising an on-line pharmacy. It came to my attention because I was notified that some of the emails could not be delivered.
What is the best action to take?
McAfee did not find any problems.

Download Malwarebytes.
Update Malwarebytes.
Scan your system.

Thanks for your advise and I appreciate the support from experts like you. Personally I know squat when it comes to computers or electronics.
Question: Can www.malwarebytes.org run with mcafee or would this pose a conflict?
Thanks.

I dont think that will conflict, but who knows.
Install it and try scanning.

Post the results. (does it conflict or not)
Thanks

'My email account Got Hacked'
1st of all you never said which e-mail client you use.
2nd, if malwarebytes doesn't correct the problem try these cleaners:
1-Trojan Remover
2- Hitman Pro
You can google for those

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
