my computer was attacked by tricky virus

Specs: Windows Vista
my computer is being attacked by tricky virus.there is a warning on my desktop about there is spyware attacking and it ask me to fix it.there was a Anti Virus program scan the virus for me rightaway and it said I had many viruses.but when I scan with my Avast, there was nothing.
After that, my computer work normally for couples days.yesterday, ma avast ran and said that i got some viruses and it couldn't fix it.it asked me to find another program to fix it.i chose one and whenever i start my computer that program asks me to scan.and then my computer got into big troubles. my internet access does not work.
can you show me how to fix my computer.

oh rogue antivirus problem please tell me the name of the antivirus other than avast because each rogue antivirus has a different removal meathord

Try to be more specific as master posted above, it could be more than just a simply virus it could be malware,spyware,adware,trojans,rootkit which is the worst of all, it can take up to doing 5 to 6 scans with many different programs to fix your problem,run hijackthis to start with but dont do anything with it just save your log for now

google hijackthis and download,install then scan then save the log file which it should do automatically. also download atf file cleaner

i think its scareware it tells you that you have viruses you dont have and might even download them to prove its genuine.Download malware bytes and spybot search and destroy and scan with them

oh..the Antivirus 2010, I havent got it in my PC, but it came up surprisingly, and scanned virus for me. I think it was a tricky program too.It said I got such many viruses, and asked me to signed up for the lisence, but i didnt do it.Then, the virus blocked all my access

i think the truth is i havent got any viruses. The Antivirus 2010, is the real virus, i think. And I got tricked!

Run this one for another opinion. Avast is very good, but they cannot catch everything.

download mcafee site adviser it automaticly tells you if the website you are visiting has viruses in it

i ve just left ma comp. on the table 4 a few day. After i had checked it again for formating i realized that my comp. worked normally. I dont understand, and i think it s funny. But now, im going to get window 7. I think it ll be better. Tks u guys all for ur helps.
