Multiple iexplorer.exe processes in Task Mana

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.792 GHz / 1021 MB
Recently, my computer received a virus and I'm not sure when, but its made my computer very slow. Normally, after a while of leaving my computer on, Firefox begins to slow down and freeze into a blank screen. Also, after a few hours, something called Dr. Watson Post Mortem Debugger encountering an error pops up along with Internet Explorer has encountered an error.

After noticing all these weird things happening I checked my task manager and it shows like 5 - 6 iexplorer.exe running and when I end one of them, more spawn and regenerate. However, the weird thing is, I can't seem to find any iexplorer.exe processes on my task manager anymore....

Someone please help. My comp constantly freezes and tells me stuff is overloading.
