Go to any dedicated forum for infected computers & you will never see them suggesting to run Glary, malwarebytes ( MBAM ) nearly always.

According to Google, mmedia.radioband.1 belongs to windows media player.

I am running Windows XP Pro 1GB Ram 320GB HD...... I have and ADMINISTRATOR ACCT, and 3 other accounts on the computer. I ran the GLARY UTILITY Spy Scanner in..Administrator account and DID NOT FIND ANY PROBLEM in the registry.

I then ran the same scanner in one of the other accounts and DID FIND A PROBLEM in the registry. Of course the scanner said it removed it, but I ran it again and it was there ! It's connected to Windows Media Player.....

Question: Is it likely that malware has hidden itself in the windows Media Player ? Has this occured before ?

Thanks for your imput ! JM
