hi I have a malware problem. I have had it for a while now but I've been unaware of it. I tried installin malwarebytes antimalware to get rid of it but everytime i try to open it i end up with an error and i changed mbam.exe to something else to disguise it but as soon as i open the program once its disguised the program recognises it and shuts it down.. can anyone offer me any help at all??

When all else fails, run the OEM disks for a clean install. If you have the media or a partition to return it to OEM state I'd do that. Then it would be a tossup between A/V antispyware firewall and all the MS updates to apply first. I like the offline service packs so you don't have to expose a unpatched computer to the internet. Also read up and use as many best practices as you can to help avoid this again.
