Solved Malwarbytes blocking a trojan, a bittorrent file

February 3, 2019 at 08:43:45
Specs: Windows 8.1, Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz, 3 GB DDR2
I have recently installed Malwarebytes anti-malware premium trial. during scan it quarantined two items.
After half an hour of this scan, a message popped up "website blocked due to trojan" an exe file of bittorrent see https://imgur.com/EBmMhoe
I need to use torrent client, please tell me
1- do i put this to exclusion?
2- do I keep using bittorrent with blocking trojan?
3- or use some other torrent client? which one? suggest.
Thanks.

If this is the first file that you've downloaded using that bittorrent client, I'd suspect the downloaded client itself is corrupted. Otherwise it's somehow become infected. Malwarebytes detects threats, but you'll need a virus-scanner to remove the trojan (if that truly is what it is---could be a false-positive)...

No. The bittorrent is working fine. The trojan found, is not in the file I have downloaded. see SS, it is bittorrent.exe, in which trojan found. I think in this bittorrent software the ads are showing, in which may be the ad has trojan. as I said above "website blocked due to trojan".

There are plenty of torrent clients, try something else.
