Specs: Windows 10
I have been bombarded with spam e-mails from Mailer-Daemon. I believe it is a malware but my AVG Internet Security (paid version) is not capturing it. How can I get rid of the malware?

Here are the first 2 steps, more steps will be needed, after I see the results of these logs.

Step 1: Run AdwCleaner

Tutorials if needed.

Close all open programs and internet browsers.
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Click Scan
In the results tabs, uncheck anything you don't want to remove.
Click on Cleaning.
Confirm each time with Ok.
Reboot, a text file will open after the restart.
Please Copy & Paste the contents of that logfile with your next reply.

Step 2: Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware ( MBAM ) Use Threat Scan.

✔ Best Answer
Mailer-Daemon is not spam. It means you (or someone using your email account) sent an email to a non-working email address or for some reason, the sent email was refused or rejected.

If you're getting numerous "Mail delivery failed" emails & you did NOT send the emails, your account has likely been compromised & someone is using it spread spam. Change your password ASAP.
