Specs: Windows 10
Good day forum.

Am writing a Driver service which is a type of kernel-level filter driver implemented as a Windows service that enables applications to work with devices .

WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE IS A : Packet filteration and modification for DNS INTERCEPTIONA ND REDIRECTION

My development environment is Visual Studio 2015, Windows 10, template Windows Driver (KMDF)

What i want to achieve is DNS queries Redirection

Am working with the FWPS_LAYER_ALE_CONNECT_REDIRECT_V6 and FWPS_LAYER_ALE_CONNECT_REDIRECT_V4 being that tey are both kernel based

From https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...

What is confusing me is this : How do i write a kernel-level filter driver implemented as a Windows service in Visual studio. I mean the
step i should take.

I dont know how to start the project templates adding in visual studio, whether the windows service (C#) template then
click on the File menu on the Visual studio 2015 to add the windows driver to the Windows Service or vice versa.

Would really appreciates someone help in sorting this issue out.

Thank you
