Java not found on my PC because of ESET NOD32 quarantine

January 4, 2012 at 18:37:50
Specs: Windows Vista 32 bit, Intel (R) Core (TM) 2gb
I know that ESET caused my java issues but what I don't know is how to reverse the problem. I can see the instances in quarantine where it falsely thought java.com was a threat. Do I return the threats out of quarantine to my system? Any and all sites which require Java will not run...I am so upset because it cost me tech support and they could not or did not help because of course they could make more money by telling my my system was corrupt. I knew that was not the case because my laptop which is new has the same issue....How should I proceed.

I would uninstall NOD32. Forget about them.

You can always update Java after NOD is gone.

Nod32 is one of the best AV programs ..., if it quarantine your Java, then it must have had a virus problem. I am running Nod32 v4 and v5 on 5 diffent PC's XP, Vista and Win7 some for 4 or 5 years and have never had Java juarantined. Just download a new copy of updated jave and install it.
