I have both AVG 2011 and Microsoft Security Essentials installed. Should I uninstall one of them and which one would you remove?

FWIW: It's not necessarily unwise, so much as that it's a big drain on system resources. Given solely that AVG has been out there much longer than MSE, I'd tell Microsoft goodbye.

Having two AntiVirus programs running at the same time is not desirable. They create conflicts with each other, and you will end up with much less protection than expected.

AVG has been around for quite a while, but, it's had a good share of problems lately,
like failing to update its virus library, and not working correctly with other programs such as spyware removers and certain browsers. It would not be my choice.

Would keep Microsoft Security Essentials.
