February 25, 2010 at 01:49:59
Specs: Windows XP, P4 / 2gb
While browsing via Firefox i'm getting an ad which covers the whole page from directcpv... I should then click SKIP AD on the upper right corner.
This occurs on any url, including youtube and others

I've tried adaware / noadware and malwarebytes...and its still there!!

it happens on random basis...

Further more besides this full page, occassionally it shows up partially on other websites, like upper most banners and stuff

its getting annoying!

any help much appr.
thanks in adv

It's adware, though I gather it's extremely annoying. The company is a legitimate one and it adds its software when you install programs from LoudMo - they have an FLV Player and Babelfish program amongst others, so you could start by uninstalling whichever software it came with & see if that cures the problem.

I have the same,
Go to Software remove/add of Windows, I have a Dutch windows: Startmenu/Instellingen/Configuratiescherm/SOFTWARE

There you'll find the b---tard: "LoudMo Contextual Ad Assistent"
Click Remove, then choose all 3 options to be sure it gets lost ;)
