Is Comodo good / trusted?

Specs: Linux Distros
Has anyone had an experience with Comodo Antivirus and should I trust it? I always bought antivirus but see they have free versions. Do you think free antivirus makes money off you some other way with your data?

Your specs say Linux, which is one of the safest operating systems around.
Usually they have an AV available, if not, it is Ok to use Comodo.

If your inquiry is for another operating system, tell us what it is.

You are being tracked everywhere now, phone, programs, browsers, nothing to worry about, if you practice safe communicating.

I just would like to know people’s opinions on Comodo in general regardless of their system. If anyone has used them for a long time. It would be for Linux in my case being one of the only options for home use. Although Linux is safest as you’ve mentioned it has become an increasingly attractive target for malware according to several articles. I was just wondering if there were negatives to free antivirus compared to bought as in data collection to make money off you? Or is bought the same? It’s just a thought is all.
Is Comodo as good as Bitdefender or Kaspersky?
