Internet only works in safe mode

Specs: Windows Vista
I'm having trouble connecting to the internet in normal mode, but it's ok in safe mode. Malwarebytes can't find anything, neither can anti-virus software. If I run HijackThis (assuming it will work), could someone look the log over for me? THANKS in advance.

have you tried adaware free that usually finds spyware/trojans that others can't. and what makes you think you have spyware/virus ?.

have you tried uninstalling the ethernet device or wireless device in device manager and restarting the computer ?.

Ok...you'd have to walk me through uninstalling the ethernet device. I'm extremely paranoid about messing all this up. This computer is my lifeline in school!

As per my #2, I think you ought to take a peek into Device Manager to see whether there are any errors showing. In Safe Mode there are only a few drivers, which could be the reason Internet works from there, ie. there might be a driver issue which shows up in Device Manager.

You can get to Device Manger various ways but for speed just put devmgmt.msc (note the dot) in the Run box and hit Enter. Errors show up with red or yellow symbols. If one is showing let us know where it is. If everything looks OK we can persue the suggestion given in #1.
