This is a continuation from another post that I
made a few days ago:

Most of the original bugs are gone, but, I still
have one persistent bugger that just won't go

An error box pops up stating:
Initiated by NT Authority System DCOM
Server Process Launcher Terminated

Then, it gives me a one-minute countdown
before it restarts.

It seems that this only happens when there is
a network connection (especially when I try to
run/update any type of virus/malware
software). I use run>"shutdown -a" to disable
it...but, none of the programs I'm using can
find/kill it.

I've been scouring the net looking for a
solution, and have come across
recommendations to use TDSSKiller. Does
this sound right to y'all?

I want to wipe this bad boy clean out of the
system and am hoping that someone w/ prior
experience in this matter could advise me.

Thank you!

Hi, Barryk999!

Yeah, wait for the shutdown message to pop-up and open
"run" and type in "shutdown -a". Once that's disabled, use
the TDSSKiller program to kill the virus.

It's been a few months since I resolved, my memory's a
bit murky. But, I think the TDSSKiller was the one that killed
it completely.

Good luck!
