I think I have a backdoor pest

October 19, 2010 at 21:17:23
Specs: Windows 7
I seem to have found myself in the presence of a really tough virus/spyware, something of the sort. I think it might be some sort of back door. So here's the deal. It keeps redirecting me to many different sites from google search, and I think it might be keeping track of my passwords and other personal stuff.

I tried Spyware, SuperAnti Spyware, and that Dr Web one to delete whatever is making my computer act all weird. None of them work. Some found incureable things and only moved it!!

I can't seem to get rid of this pest!! =(

"I think it might be keeping track of my passwords and other personal stuff"

You are refering to a keylogger. Those are extremely hard to remove but it can be done.
Try these in the same order
1-rkill.exe (stops the malware process)
2-tdss killer (removes the rootkit if it is found)
3-malwarebytes (run a full scan and remove all it finds.)

If these don't work for you, you may consider slaving your drive to another PC and saving all your valuable files, then do a refomat and fresh install of Windows 7. That will remove all parasites from your HD.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
