These are Windows system folders that should not be deleted. It sounds as if you have "show hidden and system folders" ticked in your Explorer view preferences. This is not a good idea if you do not understand what these hidden folders are.

On XP it was fine to show hidden files and folders (but not Proected system files).
On Vista and Windows7 it is a bad idea to show either of these because often
important hidden folders are created in user areas.

Do not assume things are viruses unless you have a really good reason to do so.
Don't believe all those scam AV and Registry Cleaner websites which say that about
every file in a computer is a virus and needs their program to fix it.

Deleting files unless you know exactly what they are for and what you are doing will
lead to your operating system being wrecked. If in doubt leave well alone.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
