I got a 'you have been hacked' message in my junk box?

March 7, 2012 at 22:29:25
Specs: Windows 7
I was reporting it as a phishing scam, also my homepage changed. Lexmark wanted to make changes, and I mistakenly said yes, on my 2 year old E-machine with Windows 7. Also, no virus protection on my cell, shows on my statement I bought Iolo 10.7, without knowing it, and fear I have been hacked? I am at my wits end, since I am very poor, have had problems with my account in the past anytime I purchase online, or even go to Facebook or my space, I have to change my password, and have some trouble with this. Any ideas what to do about this dilemma, when I update my protection and definitions each day I sign in??
I am becoming afraid to turn on my computer.

I would dispute the charges on the card, and notify your bank that you were the victim of fraud, and ask them to replace the card(unless you accidentally purchased it through the purchase of another product, then I would contact iolo 323.257.8888 (this may not be a bad idea anyway))

as for the computer, I would see if iolo is installed on the computer, I would download the free version of malwarebytes and run this program in safe mode.

Lexmark wanted to make changes,

That puzzles me....did you by chance have a pop-up on your pc that said it was scanning your computer for viruses or registry problems? If you did and you clicked anywhere on it...even to X it may have installed an unwanted rootkit.

If the above is the case, then run the following 3 progs in EXACLTY the same order as listed and only reboot AFTER the last scan is done.

1- rkill.exe (kills the process)
2- tdss killer (quarantines the unwanted rootkit if found)
3- malwarebytes (run a full scan and fix all it finds)

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions 7 Golds
