Solved I can't install mcafee antivirus

Specs: Windows 7
Yesterday I've downloaded the mcafee antivirus and when I started the installation process it stopped and this message appear
" the procedure entry point setdefaultdlldirectories could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll "

I'm using windows 7

What should I do ?

Don't bother with or use McAfee, as there are several excellent freebie anti-virus utilities about; some of which are regularly recommended here.

Have you actually bought McAfee?

If so - any prospect of getting a refund?

I agree. There are numerous freebies that work just as well if not better than McAfee, Norton, etc, plus they're much lighter on system resources. Try BitDefender Free Edition.

You probably need to catch up on updates for your windows 7 system. Specifically I think you need this one:

to fix that error. But yeah, why would you pay for Mcafee?

I actually thought Macafee is from the best anti-viruses, thanx god I didn't pay for it !
