I am having a virus problem with my computer.

Specs: Windows 7
It seems I have some kind of a virus that makes my computer into a zombie. Whenever I try to scan the HD the virus will hide itself. If I try to boot from the CD to reformat the HD and load a fresh copy of windows it won't let me. It goes straight to the HD to boot, if I hit F12 to select how I want to boot it won't let me choose. I am only allow to boot from the HD.

I took the infected HD and put it in another computer and I was able to delete the data and do a quick formatting of the HD, but it seems that there is a combination of factors that are infected in my system, because the new install is behaving in the same way as before.

When I did the fresh Windows 7 install, the process took longer than normal, at times it appeared that the system was not doing anything. What I imagine is that the virus was loading itself in the HD again or that the virus does not get removed with a quick formating, but I did not see an option in Windows 7 for a low level formatting.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can handle this problem.

Thank you in advance for all the input that all of you may provide.

Thank you. I dowloaded the program and I nuke the drive, but I think there is also something else in the system. I forgot to tell you that I even purchased a new dirve and the samething happen, I couldn't do anything.

I don't know if there is a file in the Bios or if there is anywhere else where a file can hide in the system.

Any ideas.
