HPIZ350 Please Help - Is this a malware/virus

Specs: Windows XP
I've seen other post from 2004, however this is May
2009 and I'm perpetually getting the HPIZ350
automatic attempt to load. It attempts to load at
startup, when IE is opened, when FireFox is opened
and on shut down.

It slows the computer down to below a crawl several
minutes prior to it's rectangle msg. box popping up
saying that "Please....." while it install.

What is it?
HP has not given a response after several give me
the info again replies.

One program that I had deleted it a month ago as a
potential malware. Prior to the delete the computer
was on crawl. After the delete the computer ran

What is it?
Is it malware/virus or something surprisingly legit?

Essentially if the computer is on.... which it is in
regular use for business & college online classes...
with a side use of kiddy math and language
learning.... this HPIZ350 attempts to load.

Oh yes, since the past delete none of the several
spyware, Ad-aware, Norton or Reg. cleans has found
it on numerous runs of each..... yet it still slows the
computer to a crawl if it starts to attempt to install.

and yes, if it's a malware or virus or such and if you
tell me exactly what I'm looking for to stop & eliminate
it, I can follow directions step by step.

By the way,

the HPIZ350 does not attempt to install when I use Safari.

Unfortunately, the College online classes haven't configured their system to run all of the programs through the college.

Can you imagine what an issue this is when I'm progressing
through online classes on a clock - timer!

This issue ticks away my time!

It seems to belong to Hewlett Packard Image Zone software ,

This is to do with a HP printer , I should uninstall and if

necessary reinstall the HP printer software .

you can try this:
install the "Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility" and delete the entry named what was trying to install.
