How to redirect HTTPS secured site to HTTP nonsecured site

Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I'd like to know what to do on my computer if I would like to redirect a link on a website (let's call it 'A') to another website (let's call it 'B')
I know that I could just modify the file "hosts" on the windows folder, adding the dns of the 'B website' and writing the url of the 'A website', but I saw it doesn't work if the url starts with "https://...".
[Note that the 'A website' is any general website, that means that is not mine, and that the url of the 'B website' it doesn't start with 'https' but with 'http'.]
Is there any way to do it?
Thanks.

This all sounds a bit suspicious. Why would you want to redirect an apparently secure site to an insecure one? Could you explain the reason behind your request.

I just don't want that someone that uses my computer finds out a specifical content on a website. I apologize if this is not permitted.
