I am running Windows XP on a home computer. Currently, I experienced an annoying spyware attack by something called "Malwareurlblock". I used various anti-malware programs without success. I am now trying to solve my problem using system resore. However, I find that all of my previous system restore points were blanked out and therefore unavailable.
Is there a way to recover them?

Would appreciate help ASAP. Thanks: Stephen

Viruses love system restore points, this won't fix the problem. Try to remove the spyware my booting into safe mode. This will prevent the virus from opening.

Pentium 4s - The processors for the rest of us.

"Is there a way to recover them?"
No, once restore points quit working it is better to turn off system restore, then turn it back on so that it can start a new point.

These progs will help to remove your problem
1- rkill.exe (stops the process)
2- tdss killer (removes unwanted rootkits if found)
3- Malwarebytes (run a full scan and remove all it finds).
Run them in that order and see if that removes the problem...there are more free progs just in case

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers
