Specs: Windows 7
I have window7 in my lappy.
i want to protect some of my folders and word files.
so plz tell me how can i put the password in folders/word file / pdf files

you can't set up passwords on folders (unless you use some dodgy software)

the easiest way to protect Word/Excel is to set up passwords on them (go to file, then security.... there are plenty of step-by-step instructions on the internet, i won't go in detail)

if you want to protect a directory you will need to set up permissions (bit more messing about)
