How to intercept http requests / telnet etc by a certain app

September 9, 2012 at 17:59:38
Specs: Win 7
I am investigating a certain app. It seems to be sending a certain http or telnet request to an external site.

I am using win 7 virtualized on a kvm. The app requires .net 3.5.

Any leads?

Thanks!

"The app requires .net 3.5"
That's fine, .net is used by programers & is now up to version 4.5 or maybe 5.

Something like these, may be helpful.

I need something like this

Burp Proxy is an intercepting proxy server for security testing of web applications. It operates as a man-in-the-middle between your browser and the target application, allowing you to:

hopefully this will work for desktop apps as well
